When you visit us at Northcross, we want you to have an idea of what to expect when you arrive.
What happens during a service?
Though it may vary from time to time, a typical service consists of:
Music: Our worship music is generally played by a full band, with a mix of contemporary songs and older hymns. Click here to listen to the current playlist of songs we sing.
Message: 35 min message from the Bible, typically preached by Pastor Andrew Neville. You can listen to past sermons here.
The Lord’s Supper: We fix our thoughts on Jesus through the consuming of bread and grape juice – distributed by volunteers.
Tea/Coffee: You are invited to stay and mingle after the service.
What should I wear?
You are free and welcome to wear whatever you wish. Being a multi-cultural and multi-generational church, clothes on a Sunday range from shorts and jandals to suit and ties. So please feel free to wear what you’re most comfortable wearing.
How long will it last?
From start to finish, our services typically last about 90 minutes.
When and where are the services?
Sundays at 10:00am, and 6:00pm.
Wednesdays at 7:00pm (youth service).
826a East Coast Road, Oteha, Auckland.
What about my kids?
We have something for kids from birth through to year 10 – you’re going to experience age-appropriate teaching, music, and fun activities. They’ll be lead by staff and volunteers, who care and love your kids.
Your children’s safety is of utmost importance to us, so all our volunteers are police-vetted, and we have a check-in system to ensure every child is accounted for. So, if you have young kids, it would be wise to arrive 15-minutes early to make sure everyone’s signed in and ready to go at 10am!
To begin with, the kids will join the adults in the main auditorium for singing, and an announcement will be made for children to leave to their respective areas. This will be facilitated and guided by children/youth ministry volunteers.
Where do I park?
Parking shouldn’t be an issue as we have a large parking lot – whether you enter through East Coast Road or Northcross Drive, you will be met by a parking attendant who will guide you to an empty parking spot.
