Paraguay Short Term Mission

Paraguay is a "third world country" in the centre of South America where the gospel has been preached for over 100 years. There are still wide open doors for evangelical witness.

Our short-term missions to Paraguay are aimed at helping the church in that country to improve what it is already being done. So our efforts are put mainly into buildings which are used by the wider body of Christians with an emphasis on reaching non-Christians with the gospel. We work in the winter months of July and August as the temperatures are lower and it is the dry season. Each Short Term Mission lasts approximately four weeks.

Carl and Kathy Most
Children: Jared, Corey
Serving In: NICARAGUA
Sending Agency: Caribbean Ministries Association

Carl, his wife Kathy, and their two children Jared and Corey are missionaries in Nicaragua through Caribbean Ministries Association.
They are well known to CMA as servants with hearts for people and ministry. They dearly love the people of Nicaragua.

The Most family, from New Zealand has been serving in Nicaragua for the last 10 years, and joined the Nehemiah Center collaboration in 2006, implementing the Mission for Transformation, a spiritual development program which equips and encourages Nicaraguan youth leaders and ministries to reach out and make disciples of those who have been marginalized as the least, the last and the lost of society.

CMA believes that God is orchestrating events that will eventually lead to open doors for the Mosts to minister in a broader scope among Latin Americans, establishing Biblical training for church leaders in other areas of Central America and the Caribbean. Please pray as they seek the Lord's timing for ministry development in both Nicaragua and abroad.

Kathy continues her vital support role as wife and mother to two fine young boys.  Her weekly ministry also includes discipleship of three young women in one of the poorest areas of Nicaragua. Together they run weekly Craft and Bible classes that are serving and impacting the lives of many needy youth of the community.

Pray for the Most family and the new challenges and opportunities the Lord will open up to them.
